[pt] No decorrer da Assembleia Geral do ECMC 2022, sábado, 1 de Outubro, em Manchester, o Gear Club Portugal foi galardoado com o "Sixty-Nice Club Trophy Award". Estamos sem palavras com esta distinção, que é atribuída ao clube do ECMC considerado como o mais simpático. Procurámos sempre dar o nosso melhor a receber todos aqueles que nos visitam, mesmo quando temos de lidar com o preconceito e múltiplas dificuldades em Portugal, para dar continuidade às nossas actividades e para organizar o Lisbon Meets Fetish. Uma coisa é certa, este prémio é, igualmente, para todos aqueles que nos visitaram, sempre com um sorriso, boa disposição, atitude e palavras de incentivo. Uma vez mais, o Gear Club Portugal acredita na importância da família de clubes do ECMC como um caminho sustentável para o compromisso da comunidade fetichista, particularmente num momento em que, em muitos cantos do mundo, ser-se gay é perigoso e reprovável. [eng] One hour ago, at 2022 ECMC’s AGM, in Manchester, Gear Club Portugal was honoured with the Sixty-Nice Club Trophy Award. We are speechless with this distinction that awards what is considered to be the friendliest ECMC’s club. We have always done our best to receive everyone with open arms, even if, many times, we need to deal with prejudice and difficulties in Portugal to make the club go on and to organize Lisbon Meets Fetish. One thing is for sure, this award belongs also to all of those who joined us in the past, always with a smile, humour, a good attitude and reassuring words. Once again, Gear Club Portugal strongly believes in the importance of ECMC’s family clubs as a sustainable way to keep the fetish community engaged, particularly at a moment that, in some corners of the world, being gay is very dangerous and blameworthy.
